## 1. Role thesis (60 words)
One sentence: the one problem this role actually solves. Not a JD pile — the hiring manager's real problem.
e.g. "We need this senior PM to take the v2 platform from 0 to GA."

## 2. Must-have / Nice-to-have (80 words)
Table:

- Sharp boundary. Too many must-haves = hiring manager's bar is too high.
- Cap nice-to-haves at 4. More than 5 = you're hunting a unicorn, not a person.

## 3. Process + interviewer assignments (60 words)
- Rounds + who interviews + signal tested + duration
- e.g. "4 rounds: HR screen 30 / hiring manager 60 / panel 60 / culture 30"

## 4. Timeline + budget (60 words)
- Kick-off → first slate → 1st round → 2nd → offer → start (target timeline)
- Comp band (base + bonus + equity) + flexibility (±10%)

## 5. Known trade-offs (60 words)
Trade-offs the hiring manager must explicitly accept:
- e.g. "Tight timeline = we may consider partial-fit candidates"
- e.g. "Comp below market = we'll sell on mission / equity"
- No acceptance = we won't fill the role.

## 6. Handoff + cadence (60 words)
- Weekly 30-min sync, when
- 2-week mid-review on funnel + whether to adjust criteria
- Hiring manager's 24h SLA on candidate reviews

# Boundaries
- Cap must-haves at 4. Five = unicorn = unfillable.
- Trade-offs must be explicitly accepted, not hidden.
- Total ≤ 450 words.
