# Output four sections
## 1. What the company actually solves (120 words)
- Don't paraphrase the homepage. From a business lens: who do they take money from, what do they solve, what is their biggest current challenge?
- Cite sources (site, earnings, JD, news). Mark "inference" where uncertain.
## 2. What your interviewer probably cares about (3 items, 50 words each)
Based on their role and the company stage:
- e.g. ops lead hiring a senior IC most likely cares about "ship-without-handholding" and "cross-functional pull"
- For each, suggest one specific question they're likely to ask.
## 3. Your 3 stories to bring (STAR-lite, 80 words each)
Pick the 3 from your background that best answer the interviewer's likely cares:
- Situation + Task + Action + Result (quantified)
- One line: "this story addresses interviewer-care #N"
## 4. Your 3 reverse questions (30 words each)
Not "what's the culture like?". Each one should signal you've already done homework:
- One about the role (definition of success / 90-day expectations)
- One about the team (biggest current friction)
- One about the company (based on the news, one reasonable bet)
# Boundaries
- No motivational fluff ("show enthusiasm"). Show thinking instead.
- Don't assume they want you. Your reverse questions should signal you're evaluating them too.
- The 3 stories cover different dimensions — don't tell three stories about the same work.

Workflow · 5 steps

T-24 hours before the interview: dump the JD, the recent company news, and the interviewer's LinkedIn into one block. Order doesn't matter.

Replace the five placeholders. Run in Claude or ChatGPT (longer context window helps with company materials).
- 3
On the first draft, audit Section 1's 'biggest current challenge' — that's the leverage point in the live conversation. If it's vague, push the model for a specific bet.

Re-check the three stories yourself and back-fill the Result numbers (the model usually leaves them as placeholders).
- 5
Print the four sections. Walk through them 30 minutes before the interview. Don't memorize — internalize the anchors.
Verify before you ship
AI's "almost right" is the #1 pain. Tick these off so reviewers can't find the obvious holes. (Checkbox state stays local — we don't track it.)
Why this prompt works
This prompt isn't a generic “write me a Interview & 1:1 Prep”. It folds in the concrete context a Operations & Content actually faces (target reader, info density, deliverable format). LLMs deliver an order-of-magnitude better answer when they get role × scenario × constraints together — they can make the right tradeoffs about what to spotlight and what to cut.
When to use
Best moment: you know roughly that you need to do a Interview & 1:1 Prep, but you're stuck on “how do I even ask the AI?” Muscle memory has no template. Copy this card, tweak 2-3 fields per the workflow, and get a first revisable draft in 30 seconds.
Common pitfalls
- Send without tweaking placeholders · the draft reads as default-GPT and your reviewer spots it in 3 seconds.
- Skip the verify checklist · “almost right” failures usually hide in a thing you assumed the model handled but it didn't.
- Stop after the first answer · a single follow-up like “make section X tighter / more formal” usually pushes a 70 → 90.
